本文对国外半导体发光与显示器件的发展及应用作了简单的评述,比较了几种发光材料(特别是GaAs_(1-x)P_x)的优缺点,认为目前发光显示器件的主流是GaAs_(1-x)P_x,但随着高压、液封直拉单晶的进步,GaP材料将克服价格问题,充分发挥其效率高、颜色丰富(能发红、绿光)的优点、进而占居主导地位。同时指出,SSD法也许会成为一种制备GaP单晶的较有希望的廉价方法。对于半导体显示器的结构、主要困难(如价格,大面积显示及发光的颜色问题)及器件的可靠性等问题,本文也进行了一定的叙述。
In this paper, we briefly reviewed the development and application of semiconductor light-emitting and display devices in foreign countries, and compared the advantages and disadvantages of several light-emitting materials, especially GaAs_ (1-x) P_x. -x) P_x. However, with the progress of high pressure and liquid crystal pulling single crystals, GaP material will overcome the price problem and give full play to its advantages of high efficiency and rich color (redness and green light) . At the same time, it is pointed out that the SSD method may become a promising and cheap method for preparing GaP single crystals. For the structure of the semiconductor display, the main difficulties (such as price, large area display and light color problems) and the reliability of the device and other issues, this article also made a certain description.
