语言教学与二语习得之间的关系一直是研究者关注的重要话题。对二语习得过程的充分了解有助于语言教学(McLaughlin 1987)。虽然研究者纷纷表示二语习得研究对语言教学非常重要,但对于应如何定位两者之间的关系并未达成共识。国际知名学者、英语教育专家Rod Ellis和新加坡南洋理工大学国立教育学院的Natsuko Shintani合著的《借鉴二语习得研究探索语言教学》一书对这一问题进行了全面、深入的探讨。
The relationship between language teaching and second language acquisition has always been an important topic of concern to researchers. A good understanding of the process of second language acquisition contributes to language teaching (McLaughlin 1987). Although researchers have said that SLA research is very important for language teaching, no consensus has been reached on how to locate the relationship between the two. Internationally renowned scholar Rod Ellis, an English education expert, and Natsuko Shintani, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, conducted a comprehensive and in-depth discussion on this issue through “Learning Second Language Acquisition and Exploring Language Teaching.”
