活塞密封新结构使油缸不需珩磨

英国 TI Reynolds公司声称,由于采用了一种活塞密封结构,已能用该公司生产的冷拔钢管直接制成油缸,而不需要再进行珩磨。这种活塞密封结构是由三个密封圈组成(详见附图):里层为一O形密封圈,外层为一X形密封圈,在两者之间还装有一U形密封圈(由聚四氟乙烯基的弹性材料制成)。当活塞装入油缸后,X形密封圈被挤压而紧贴于油缸壁上,起到初始的密封作用。当油缸内工作介质的压力升高,O形密封圈产生变形,顶起U形密封圈,使之与缸壁相接触,和X形密封圈同时起到高压密封的作用。据说这种活塞密封结构的密封性能优异,还可适用于油缸活塞两侧为两种不同油液或一侧为油液、另一侧为气体的油缸。此外,还容许活塞作转动或振动,即使在活塞静止时,也至少可承受 TI Reynolds, UK, claims it has been able to manufacture cylinders directly from the company’s cold-drawn tubes without the need for further honing thanks to a piston-sealed construction.
