20世纪三四十年代是新疆哈萨克族文学批评正式形成的时期,这一时期,新疆哈萨克族文学批评经历了从古典形态向现代形态的转变,与哈萨克族古代文学理论相比,哈萨克族现代文学批评在理论术语、研究范畴以及批评意识、批评方法等方面都有所不同。这一时期的新疆哈萨克族现代文化启蒙运动,也促使以尼合迈德·蒙加尼、唐加勒克为代表的新型文学批评家的批评从“无理论”到“有理论”的现代性转变,新型的文学批评家以科学、理性的批评思维在新疆哈萨克族现代文学批评领域开拓了全新的局面。
