Biology has become an information-dense,data-intensive enterprise that requires the ability to access,integrate,and compute on large amounts of data.To enable better use of data,stakeholders (scientists,curators,librarians,and joumal publishers)have established standards to ensure that data are findable,accessible,interoperable,and reusable (FAIR;Wilkinson et al.,2016;https://www.force11.org/group/fairgroup/fairprinciples).
