During the flight, the screws of the wing skin will loosen or even fall off under the action of repeated loads, laying a hidden danger to the flight safety of the aircraft. Detecting such damage in time and taking effective measures can improve the safety of the aircraft. Aiming at such damage, the screw loose damage mode of hard aluminum alloy plate connector was designed and its identification was studied by the test method of electromechanical impedance. The experimental results show that RMSD (Root Mean Square Deviation) index increases with the increase of screw loosening and damage degree when the proper frequency range is selected. Both show a monotonous function, and RMSD damage Indicators identify the degree of loosening of the screw and are more sensitive to small injuries.
