With the rapid promotion of glyphosate-resistant glyphosate-tolerant soybean (Glycine max) and the expansion of cultivation, the environmental safety has also become more and more the focus of attention. In this study, Coturnix japonica, a bird closely related to the environment, was selected as experimental animals and randomly divided into five treatment groups with 28% and 70% glyphosate-tolerant soybean (Zhong J9331) and non-transgenic The control quail (Zhonghuang 30) and conventional basal diet were fed with quail for 90 days to observe its effects on the health and physiological indexes of quail. During the experiment, the body weight and food intake of each group were recorded. At the end of the experiment, blood dissected animals were collected Pathological observation, calculation of organ coefficients. The results showed that the growth and development of animals in each group were good after 90 days of transgenic soybean feeding, and there were significant differences in blood routine, blood biochemical and organ coefficient between transgenic soybeans and non-transgenic soybeans (P < 0.05), but no biological significance. Pathological examination, the experimental group compared with the basal diet control group, no significant pathological changes observed in other organs, but in the liver sections were observed in fatty liver degeneration and diffuse fibrous connective tissue proliferation, confirmed by the score The phenomenon also appeared in the experimental group and the basic diet control group, so that is a spontaneous liver disease, quail whether the intake of transgenic soy has nothing to do. Studies have shown that the GM-glyphosate-tolerant soybean Soybean J9331 and non-GMO soybeans have the same food safety for quails, and provide scientific data for the commercial application and safety management of genetically modified soybeans.
