On April 21, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice on Carrying out the Recommended Projects of 2017 Pilot Demonstration Projects for Smart Manufacturing, setting forth the basic conditions for recommending pilot projects for smart manufacturing, the recommended procedures and the requirements for declaration. The Circular calls for the project implementation unit to be registered in the People’s Republic of China with independent legal personality and good operating and financial status. The project is technically advanced in China or at the international advanced level.
