(a) Our company was established in 1979 and currently employs 300 people (including 144 collectively-owned employees). Since 1980, it has explored ways to break the “big pot” that employees eat. After several reforms over the past five years, various forms of economic responsibility system have been tried out. From coarse to fine, the contents of the economic responsibility system have been constantly enriched, and rewards and penalties have been improved and ideological and political work has been strengthened. This has mobilized the enthusiasm of the broad masses of workers and has become comprehensive year after year. Overfulfilling the planning tasks assigned by superiors, the economic benefits have been greatly improved year by year: the average amount of scrap metal recovered
