一九八九年,据全国各地专报的38起烟花爆竹重大爆炸事故分析,有几下几个特点:一是事故发生在生产环节中多。在38起爆炸事故中,发生在生产环节的30起,占79%。二是生产中的的爆炸事故发生在个体户、联营户的多,共19起,占生产事故总数的63%,而且这些个体户、联营户95%属于非法生产。三是爆炸事故的直接原因是摩擦、撞击引起和因电器设备不防爆、违章吸烟引起的。四是发生事故的丰节性很强,多发生在八、十、十一、十二月份。38起事故
