毛泽东是我党一位卓越的领袖人物,也是革命历史题材影片着力表现的一个方面。我们的电影艺术家本着“还历史于真实”的主旨,试图通过对毛泽东在不同历史阶段作用的描绘,展示了他丰富个性和辉煌的一生。但由于种种原因,影片在整体上还停留于对历史事件,即社会共性的表现上,缺乏对人物灵魂即人本性的开掘和把握,单纯地以事携史,而没有给人提供更多的思考。已有的艺术实践表明:电影艺术家只有增大审视距离,全面理性关照毛泽东这一历史伟人自身发展流程以及他和历史与社会的联系,才能使影片真实艺术地体现出凝聚在毛东东身上的理性情感;才能使观众理解毛泽东这位历史巨人走上历史舞台的独特性和必然性。
Mao Zedong is an excellent leader of our party and one of the areas where the film on revolutionary history has exerted itself.
