中国的艺术和设计受到国际潮流的新现代媒体和新技术的巨大的挑战,因此呈现出一种全球性的艺术设计的国际竞争。在当前中国新生代的的设计师们,会追求时髦的以所谓的“时尚潮流”的设计风格来作为其设计理念,即为在进行设计时会盲从的去以追求“新的,奇怪的,奇怪的”是时尚以风为借口从西方借来的盲目“借来的学说。怎么样来增强民族民间文化下的艺术设计教育,增强具有国家传统文化传承与发展的元素的设计,怎么样来进行民族民间文化的可持续性发展。是所有的艺术工作者与设计工作者都必须进行认真思考与不断研究的重要课题。
