In this paper, the content of seven trace elements Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Ni, Mn and Fe in 160 children’s hair in Le’an River Basin were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the contents of Cu, Mn and Fe were highly significant (p <0.01) and Zn and Pb contents were significantly different (p <0.05) There was a significant difference between the contents of Cu and Zn. The differences of Mn and Fe contents between Xinjian and Caijiawan were significant. The above differences were all above experimental points (Zhongzhou, Daicun and Caijiawan) . The contents of Cd and Ni were close to each other. The survey of height, weight and chest circumference of the children under test showed that the control points were all higher than the experimental points. The results show that heavy metal pollution may have different degrees of impact on the health of children in the Le Ann River Basin
