The classification of gastric cancer is a long-standing controversial issue, so the classification and naming are rather confusing, descriptive histological types such as adenocarcinoma, papillary adenocarcinoma, solid cancer, hard cancer, and colloid cancer, and their biological behavior and prognosis, among others. Features are rarely linked, and Stout and AcKermann have long denied the significance of histological classification of gastric cancer. The prognosis of gastric cancer is poor. The five-year survival rate of patients diagnosed with gastric cancer is only 10 to 15%. The treatment of gastric cancer relies on surgical resection, and the postoperative five-year survival rate is only 30%. In general, the classification and prognosis of gastric cancer are unsatisfactory. In recent years, a number of new classification methods have been proposed. The relationship between prognosis and prognosis is discussed. Lauren divides stomach cancer into two main types:
