学校兴建了“袖珍科技馆”,配有40余种声、光、电小器材,馆内外布置了中国科学发展史展板,反映始自炎黄先祖的中华民族不屈不挠、前仆后继的科技创新精神,介绍著名科学家的生平、故事和科技成果;成立了车模、火箭模型、空模、天文、生物、劳动技术、电脑美术、电脑机器人等活动小组,开展各项科技活动。学生王皓、杨子萌参加省机器人“寻迹走”比赛获一等奖,教师李浩带领学生参加武昌区空模比赛,屡次获得优异成绩。学校被评为首批“全国科学教育实验基地”。
The school built a “Pocket Science and Technology Museum” with more than 40 kinds of sound, light, electricity and small equipment. Inside and outside the museum, it laid out the exhibition boards for the history of science in China, reflecting the indomitable spirit of technological innovation pioneered by the ancestor of the Yanhuang people. Scientists’ life, stories and achievements in science and technology. Activities such as car models, rocket models, empty modules, astronomy, biology, labor technology, computer art and computer robots have been set up to carry out scientific and technological activities. Students Wang Hao and Yang Zimeng won the first prize of provincial robot “Tracing Walk” contest. Teacher Li Hao led students to participate in the Wuchang Quanguang Competition and won many outstanding achievements. The school was named the first batch of “National Science Education Experiment Base.”
