应用题是小学数学教学中的重点与难点,其特点是将复杂的数量关系用抽象的文字加以描述,对学生的逻辑思维能力要求较高。小学阶段的学生其抽象思维仍未发展成熟,所以对纯文字的东西理解起来比较困难。所以教师在教学过程中应采取更加灵活变通的教学方法以帮助学生理解题意。如果教师一味以语言去讲解题意,以文字来描述数学概念,必定不利于学生对知识的掌握,即使花费大量时间与口舌,其效果也是十分有限的。即使学生掌握了,也仅局限于做某道题而无法变通。一个优秀的教师应该着重培养学生的学习能力,教授学生学习方法。俗话说“授之以鱼不如授之以渔”。线段图在小学数学的应用题教学中
