溧阳市西平小学是教育部依法治校示范学校,位于江苏省溧阳市溧城镇西园路5号,1998年由原西门街小学与和平街小学两所毗邻的百年老校合并而成。学校现有42个教学班,2008名学生,溧阳市级以上各类优秀教师占教师总数的61%。学校凭借深厚的文化底蕴和优良的办学传统,根据“创造一个幸福的儿童世界”的办学理念和“做可爱的溧阳人”的育人目标,逐步形成了“文明、团结、求实、奋进”的校风,“奉献、严谨、踏实、创新”的教风和“勤学、善思、刻苦、进取”的学风。
Liyang Xiping Primary School is a demonstration school run by the Ministry of Education according to law. It is located at No. 5 Xiyuan Road, Li Town, Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. In 1998, it was formed by the merger of two adjacent hundred-year-old schools of former Ximen Street Primary School and Heping Street Primary School. The school has 42 teaching classes, 2008 students, Liyang city above all kinds of outstanding teachers account for 61% of the total number of teachers.
