The purpose of this study was to elucidate the effects of S. helveticus on the complement system and the effect of complement on the adherence of polymorphonuclear cells (PMNC) and mononuclear cells (MNC) to filamentous larvae (FL). Beagle dogs were subcultured in human S. S. southeast Asia strain FL and aseptically collected and prepared for antigen (Ag).
