大学英语教学改革至今,取得显著成果。但随着我国经济的迅猛发展,社会对高素养人才的需求范围进一步扩大,大学英语教学必须要担负起对这些高素养人才英语应用能力培养的重任。归其根本,人才培养的源头在于从事大学英语教学的教师能力培养,而由于种种原因,教师科研能力一直以来并未获得教师教学能力的同等重视。教师通过不断培养自身的科研能力,才能深入思考教学实践中的问题并有的放矢地及时解决,教学质量也因此得以提高,这也正是当下需要进一步创新和突破的大学英语教学改革所要求的。
College English teaching reform so far achieved remarkable results. However, with the rapid development of economy in our country, the scope of social demand for high-quality personnel has been further expanded. College English teaching must shoulder the important task of cultivating these high-quality English talents. At its root, the source of talent cultivation lies in the training of teachers who are engaged in college English teaching. For all kinds of reasons, the ability of teachers in scientific research has not been given the same importance as teachers’ teaching ability. By continuously cultivating their own scientific research ability, teachers can think deeply about the problems in teaching practice and solve them in a timely manner and the quality of teaching can be improved. This is exactly what is required by the current college English teaching reform that needs further innovation and breakthrough.
