在棉铃形成最后的10~12天,棉铃各组分干重和内部营养物质含量的变化均较大,高强力纤维品系 PD9223的变化幅度明星大于低强力纤维品种徐州514。因此,在棉铃能够正常成熟吐絮的情况下,采取任何催熟措施,使其过早结束成熟阶段,对种子和纤维发育都是不利的。特别是对优质纤维品种更为不利。高强力纤维品系 PD9223种仁中脂肪含量,显著高于低强力纤维品种徐州514,而蛋白质含量则显著低于徐州514。根据有关测定资料的相关分析,可以推断种子中脂肪和蛋白质含量与纤维品质可能也存在一定的联系。从两种纤维强度品种(系)年度间棉铃组分干物质分配的变化,可以看出,高强力纤维品系 PD9223棉铃发育对环境条件的敏感性大于低强力纤维品种徐州514。
