Not long ago, I saw an article entitled “Is Chen Yi-fei a Chinese Painter?” In her internal magazine Xinmin’s Friends (June 30), apparently pointed out that Chen Yi-fei has already joined the United States He is a “Chinese American” and should not be a “Chinese painter.” This reminds me of the fact that after the death of Chen Yifei, all our newspapers reported on the achievements of his lifetime, and indeed all regarded him as a “Chinese painter” Proud, it is worth our attention. Because people who understand the background, especially Americans, privately how would like to think it? He was obviously an American, how to keep saying he was “Chinese painter”? It seems like competing with what honor. Chen Yifei is a Chinese artist and artist, and it will never change. We can be proud of it. However, the address must be accurate and objective, so that people will not be used as a joke. Accurately expressed, in fact, is a respect and respect for Chen Yifei.
