谁也没说今后不再举办全运会了,起码未闻任何官方人士有过这话,既然如此,为何要拎来做文章?实,笔者不过是在大家都瞪圆眼睛盯着世界杯足球赛的时候,找个别的话题。全运会诞生于1959年,已经快40岁,应当不惑了。中国竞技体育巨人早已完成了全运会的起跑,通过接力进入中盘,矛盾与成就交织。全运会的“出身”应该填写为“计划经济体制”,而全运会的“成分”则属于由政府直接主持的专业竞技。光从这两项“履历”看,已经跟今日中国市场经济的大环境格格不入。或许正是出于这样一个现实,八运会还没开幕的时候,一些喜欢琢磨事儿的人已经发出了不和谐音。如果体育的意义仅仅在于竞技场上的胜负,计数金牌的有无或多寡,那么,再没有比传统的计划经济体制更有力的依托了。但凡实行举国(举省市举区)体制,只要家长肯舍弃孩子的学业,孩子肯舍弃自己的童趣,一门心思苦练下去,其余的事情都由政府主管部门一包到底。如此,各级体委作为政府的主管部门,尽管很累很累,又会乐此不疲。因为竞技场上的辉煌成就被政府所认可,如同孩子出了成绩,大人特别高
