党的十六大报告首次明确提出新型工业化的慨念,认为要在本世纪头20年实现全面建设 小康社会的奋斗目标,必须走新型工业化道路,大力实施科教兴国战略和可持续发展战略。我理解,新型工业化与科教兴国和可持续发展是一体两翼,其主要特征是科技含量高、经济效益好、资源消耗低、环境污染少、人力资源优势得到充分发挥。
For the first time, the report of the party’s 16th CPC National Congress clearly put forward the concept of new-type industrialization. He believes that in order to realize the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in the first 20 years of this century, we must take a new road to industrialization and vigorously implement the strategy of rejuvenating our country through science and education and the strategy of sustainable development. I understand that the new industrialization and the rejuvenation of the country through science and education and sustainable development are two wings. Its main features are high technology content, good economic returns, low resource consumption, less environmental pollution and giving full play to the advantages of human resources.
