It has been reported that when carrageenan is caused by pleuritis in rats, a large amount of neutrophils (PMN) accumulate in the pleural exudate; the lysosomal enzyme activity in the exudate and the metabolites of the arachidonic acid cyclooxygenase pathway (Such as TXB_2 and 6-keto-PGF_ (1α)) may be related to the activation of leukocytes. Hydrocortisone and anisodamine, which have some inhibitory effects on leukocyte activation, have a protective effect on the inflammatory model. This shows that white blood cells play an important role in the development of inflammation. To further confirm this hypothesis, this article observed leukopenic rats on the impact of pleurisy. The experiment was divided into three groups. The leukopenia group was intramuscularly injected with amethopterin (2.5 mg / kg body weight) once a day for three times.
