我们公主岭市(原怀德县)共有32个乡镇,现有中小学485所,在校学生15万多人,教职工1万多人。开展勤工俭学活动,是全面落实党的教育方针,培养社会主义一代新人的重要途径,也是补充教育经费、发展基础教育的一项有效措施。1958年我们就开展了勤工俭学活动,近几年更把它列入领导工作日程,坚持常抓不懈,使勤工俭学不断地向前发展。我们的主要作法是:
