众所周知,所谓衬笔是指在写某一事物或人物时,不作正面描写而是从侧面或另一角度着意描绘,使所要表现的人和事鲜明而突出。这就是人们通常所说的“背面敷粉”法。善用衬笔手法不仅可以造成悬念,使作品更加引人入胜,而且还能激发读者的想象,使作品耐人寻味。例如,汉乐府诗《陌上桑》:“行者见罗敷,下担捋髭须;少年见罗敷,脱帽著帩头;耕者忘其犁,锄者忘其锄。来归相怨怒,但坐观罗敷。”
