六十年代以来,随着电子显微镜制造技术的进步,金属材料研究工作的深入和电子显微镜试样制备技术的完善,透射电子显微镜(简称透射电镜)在金属材料研究领域的应用日趋广泛。目前,在一些工业发达国家,它已是高等学校和科研单位的一种很普通的研究手段,就是在一些工厂实验室,也已成为必不可少的试验仪器。尤其是在七十年代发展了分析电子显微学之后,透射电镜在材料研究工作中的作用就更为显著了。
Since the 1960s, with the progress of electron microscope manufacturing technology, the research of metal materials and the improvement of electron microscope sample preparation technology, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) has been widely used in the field of metal materials research. At present, in some industrialized countries, it has become a very common research method used by colleges and universities and scientific research institutes. In some factory laboratories, it has also become an indispensable test instrument. Especially after the development of analytical electron microscopy in the seventies, the role of TEM in material research was even more pronounced.
