通过对古今本草典籍中“益肾精”中药的“种属”“四气”“五味”“归经”和“毒性”进行研究分析,根据历史的各个时期,探讨“益肾精”中药药性之规律,为指导中医临床加减用药、中药新资源开发等提供理论支持和文献依据。益肾精中药一般多为草部,少有菜部、果部和禽部。益肾精中药四气多为温性、平性,少热性、凉性。益肾精中药五味一般为甘味,辛味、苦味、咸味略有,酸味、涩味和淡味少有。益肾精中药归经主要归肾、肝两经,少有归胆和小肠经。
