To reduce the incidence of pregnancy and side effects, recently designed some new IUDs, one of which is Progestasertk. This is a T-shaped intrauterine device made of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, containing 38 mg of progesterone in the straight rod and applied at a constant release rate of 65 μg daily for one year Long. This article describes the first clinical experience of this IUD in Scandinavia. A total of 150 women of childbearing age participated in this research.
