《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》提出:语言对促进人的全面发展具有重要的作用。学生学习英语与学习母语一样,可以促进人的发展。因此,英语课程“具有工具性和人文性双重性质”。就人文性而言,英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务,即学生通过英语课程能够开阔视野,丰富生活经历,发展跨文化意识,促进创新思维,形成良好品格和正确价值观,为终身学习奠定基础。
The Common Senior High School English Curriculum Criteria (Experiment) puts forward that language plays an important role in promoting the all-round development of people. Students learn English as well as learning a native language, which can promote human development. Therefore, the English curriculum “has the dual nature of instrumental and human ”. As far as humanism is concerned, the English curriculum undertakes the task of improving students’ comprehensive humanistic accomplishment. That is, students can broaden their horizons through English courses, enrich their life experience, develop cross-cultural awareness, promote innovative thinking, form good character and correct values, and pursue lifelong learning Lay the foundation.
