本文介绍了含铝固体推进剂发动机燃烧期间金属粒子和凝聚物的形成,以及燃烧机理的研究。对此问题引起注意的是,这些粒子对推进剂燃烧特性和对整个发动机工作特性的影响。在过去的一年里,我们的目的是研制一种测定推进剂表面或近表面粒子粒度分布的实验设备和实验技术。采用的方法是以实验室的规模,把小型伺服控制透明窗药条燃烧器与图象式粒度分析仪和脉冲照明摄影技术结合起来。本文简要介绍了伺服控制透明窗药条燃烧器。给出了用这种装置获得的一组含铝复合推进剂的燃速数据。其次,详细叙述了所采用的图象式粒度分析仪的原理和使用情况。最后,讨论了用脉冲照明摄影技术研究金属粒子及其凝聚物燃烧情况的可行性。
This article describes the formation of metal particles and agglomerates during combustion of an aluminum-containing solid propellant engine, and the combustion mechanism. What has drawn attention to this issue is the effect of these particles on the propellant combustion characteristics and on the overall engine operating characteristics. In the past year, our goal was to develop an experimental device and experimental technique for determining particle size distribution on or near the propellant surface. The method used is to combine a small servo-controlled, transparent window lance burner with an image-based particle size analyzer and pulsed lighting photography on a laboratory scale. This article briefly describes the servo-controlled transparent window lance burner. The burning rate data for a group of aluminum-containing composite propellants obtained with this arrangement are given. Secondly, the principle and the usage of image type particle size analyzer are described in detail. Finally, the feasibility of using pulse illumination photography to study the combustion of metal particles and their agglomerates was discussed.
