近日《公共科学图书馆》杂志刊登一项研究指出,健康的年轻人多摄取ω-3脂肪酸,可帮助改善、提升记忆力。该项研究由美国匹兹堡大学科研人员完成。研究发现像吃草的动物、野生鱼类多含有ω-3脂肪酸,有几份研究报告发现,ω-3脂肪酸在人体机能运作上扮演重要角色。也有研究发现,ω-3脂肪酸或可降低大肠癌风险、预防心脏衰竭。不过很少人研究ω-3脂肪酸对健康年轻人的记忆有何影响。研究人员以18-25岁的年轻人为研究对象,男女皆有,且这些人身体都很健康。研究团队请他们服用ω-3补充剂,以增加ω-3脂肪酸摄取量,持续6个月。在研究开始前,研究人员还会为这些人验血、做正子摄影,并测量其工作记忆。
