河北是国内饰面用花岗岩矿的重要产地之一,有太行山及燕山两大成矿带,已发现大中型矿床21处、小型矿床和矿化点70余处.通过对成矿地质背景、典型矿床、赋矿地质体及成矿构造的分析,将河北饰面用花岗岩矿床类型分为5类、15亚类,侵入岩型矿床类型有4类、11亚类,分布于以燕山期为主,晋宁期为次的酸性—超基性侵入岩中,受构造—侵入岩带控制;变质岩型矿床类型有1类、4亚类,形成于新太古代—古元古代混合岩化区域变质岩中.河北已形成冀中、冀北及冀东3大石材产业基地,石材品种达30余种,太行山中段的“中国黑”、冀北地区的“燕
