本研究通过多项选择测试、访谈和扎根理论的分析,调查了不同水平的英语学习者的英语学习焦虑感状况。结果发现,焦虑是多变量综合作用的结果。在各种影响焦虑的变量中,同学间相互比较、语言学习策略、学习兴趣与动机和学习成绩好坏是影响焦虑的四个直接变量。其他间接变量通过四大直接变量作用于学习者的焦虑。最后,所有这些变量与焦虑一起直接或间接影响到学习者的学习成绩。同时研究还发现,学习成绩和焦虑、焦虑和学习兴趣与动机之间是两组相互作用的关系。
Through multiple choice tests, interviews and grounded theory analysis, this study investigated the English learning anxiety of different levels of English learners. The results showed that anxiety is the result of a combination of multiple variables. Among the various variables that affect anxiety, there are four direct variables that affect anxiety: comparison among students, language learning strategies, learning interests and motivation, and academic performance. Other indirect variables affect the learner’s anxiety through four major direct variables. Finally, all of these variables, along with anxiety, directly or indirectly affect the learner’s academic performance. At the same time, the study also found that the academic performance and anxiety, anxiety and interest in learning and motivation is the interaction between the two groups.
