地理简图(包括示意图、模式图、联系图等在内)能够简明扼要地将地理知识涵盖其中,通过简单的形式表现复杂的地理事物,清晰的罗列知识点,具有一目了然的特点。高中地理简图主要是以实现教学目标为前提,其内容紧紧围绕教材,增删灵活,重点难点突出。教师利用地理简图进行教学,能够实现知识的随用随现,有效的实现化文为图、抽象变具体,可以弥补教学挂图、地图册、插图等在教学中不足之处,提高教学质量之余,还能够有效的攻克高中地理教学难点。因此,教师在高中地理教学中应当充分运用地理简图克服教学难点,提高高中地理教学的质量。
