雷锡恩公司的设备分部与该公司的比奇飞机公司开始合伙研制低成本光传技术,旨在今后5～10年内使绝大多数比奇飞机的发动机与飞行控制采用这一技术。 雷锡恩公司的雷达与电子制造部门与比奇飞机公司为研究这项技术也与另外几家公司组建了一个民间集团。工作的重点在于开发出适于采用单发、活塞发动机的“富源”飞机到以双涡轮风扇发动机为动力的“比奇喷气”这类飞机使用的低成本光传系统。
Raytheon’s equipment division and the company’s Beechcraft Aircraft Company began a partnership to develop low-cost optical technology aimed at enabling the vast majority of Beechcraft engines and flight controls to adopt this technology in the next five to 10 years. Raytheon’s radar and electronics manufacturing division and Beechcraft Aircraft Corporation formed a private group to study the technology with several other companies. The focus of the work is to develop a low-cost optical system suitable for use with single-piston, piston-powered Fuyuan aircraft to twin-turbo fan powered Beech Jet aircraft.
