6三组组合照相机提高太阳风暴预测能力当进入离地球大约50英里轨道时,科里奥利卫星上搭载的实验用太阳物质喷射图像仪(SEMI)就会每100多分钟扫描一次漆黑的太空,寻找飞往地球的太阳能磁性粒子云。SEMI自从2003年1月正式运行以来,三组双耦合协同工作的照相机已经拍摄到200多个日冕物质喷射图。在这些日冕物质喷射中,大约有30次触及到地球,引发了许多问题,包括战场通信干扰和飞船部件损伤等。SEMI验证试验大大提高了预报攻击地球的太阳粒子云发生时间和地点的准确性。
6 Three Combination Cameras Improve Solar Storm Prediction Capability When entering the orbit about 50 miles from Earth, the experimental Solar Imaging Jet (SEMI) mounted on the Coriolis satellite scans the dark space every 100 minutes, Look for solar magnetic particle clouds that fly to Earth. Since SEMI was officially operational in January 2003, three groups of dual-coupled, cooperating cameras have captured more than 200 CME shots. Approximately 30 of these coronal mass shots hit the Earth, causing many problems, including interference from battlefield communications and damage to spacecraft components. The SEMI validation test greatly improves the accuracy of predicting the timing and location of the cloud of solar particles that attack the Earth.
