冲绳海槽位于东海东部,介于陆架海与琉球群岛之间,是西太平洋边缘岛弧向陆侧的一个弧后盆地。其存在和发展与西太平洋板块运动的动力学特性有着密切的关系,而冲绳海槽地壳的结构性质却是研究这种关系的重要依据。地壳结构性质主要包括莫霍界面的深度(地壳的总厚度),以及地壳各分层的厚度与成分。
The Okinawa Trough is located in the eastern part of the East China Sea, between the shelf sea and the Ryukyu Islands. It is a back-arc basin to the land side of the western Pacific margin arc. Its existence and development are closely related to the dynamics of the western Pacific plate motion. However, the structural properties of the crust in the Okinawa Trough are an important basis for the study of this relationship. The nature of the crustal structure includes the depth of the Moho interface (total crustal thickness) and the thickness and composition of the crustal layers.
