8月2日22点19分,随着一架载满乘客的B737客机缓缓降落在秦皇岛山海关机场,停运已久的秦皇岛至上海航线正式复航。上海航空公司的领导带领机组人员走下了飞机,秦皇岛市政府及秦皇岛山海关机场有限公司在停机坪上举行了简短的欢迎仪式。秦皇岛市副市长李秦生参加了复航仪式。这也是秦皇岛机场停航近一年后恢复的首架正班航班。据悉,此条航线将由上海航空公司的B737-700型飞机执飞。秦皇岛-上海航线曾经是山海关机场的常年航线,1996年开航,陆续飞行855班,运送旅客78062人次,所使用机型为B146、D328等机型,后因航空公司运力调整,该航线2003年停航。
