同蒲路战役,是我晋翼鲁豫军区第4纵队和太岳军区部队,在第4纵队司令员陈赓、政治委员谢富治指挥下,于1946年8月对山西省同蒲铁路洪洞至灵石段之敌进行的一次反击战。这一战役,是在敌人分散据守城堡、我军兵力规模较小的条件下进行的,由于我军采取了集中优势兵力逐个夺取敌人据守的城堡的战法,取得了连克洪洞、赵城、霍县、灵石、汾西五城、歼敌1.2万余人的重大胜利——
