Must establish a new concept Although the comrades in the steel sector have long considered molybdenum as a very useful alloying element, they always think that the reserves of molybdenum in our country are small and the output is not high. Therefore, the emphasis has been placed on controlling the use of molybdenum in alloy steel. China’s alloy steel system also uses the Soviet Union’s Molybdenum tungsten system in the 1950s. However, the Soviet Union, due to the discovery of large molybdenum mines in Mongolia in the early 1970s, and the recognition that molybdenum has many excellent effects in steel, have been converted to extensive use of molybdenum. Although our country has undergone great changes in resources exploration and production, it has not changed the old tradition of the 1950s. This old conception must be changed.
