设计开始于一张简单的草图。在最初的沟通中,欧阳在原始平面图的中央纵向画了一个长长的条框,他告诉主人,这里将被用于容纳物质;接着又画下另一个横向的条框,然后说:这里将用来容纳精神。两个条框组成了一个标准的等臂十字架,而这个容纳了精神与物质的十字架,当下便打动了主人。整个平面在十字架的基础上进行了全部重组,衣柜及所有储物功能都设置在纵向的条形区域内,通长的走道,干净而纯粹;而在横向的条形区域内,是与室内庭园相连的书廊以及拥有广阔高尔夫景观的书房。
The design starts with a simple sketch. In the initial communication, Ouyang drew a long bar vertically in the middle of the original plan. He told the master that it would be used to contain material; then he would draw another horizontal bar and say: Used to contain the spirit. The two bars form a standard cross of the same arm, and this contains the cross of spirit and material, and it impresses the master. The entire plane was completely reorganized on the basis of the cross, and the wardrobe and all storage functions were set in the vertical bar area.
