会话修补中的回指现象,是指话者在实施修补时,往往会回到修补成分的开始处,而不是直截了当地在错词后实行修补。话者为了帮助听者解决话语的连接问题,会采用不同的回指修补策略。本研究应用中国学习者英语口语语料库,采用定量和定性相结合的方法,探讨中国非英语专业大学生英语会话中回指修补①的模式和策略使用特征,比较他们与本族语者在回指起始词使用上的异同。研究发现,大学生在英语口语回指修补上自我重复所占比例最高,重组和插入策略所占比例很少,这反映出大学生在语言信息加工和语言在线处理方面能力的特点;而且他们在回指起始词使用上与本族语者有明显差异。本文借用认知心理学的注意力理论来解释结果,并指出本研究对大学英语口语教学的启示。
The anaphora in conversational patching often means that the speaker often returns to the beginning of the patching element when performing the patching rather than applying the patching right after the wrong word. In order to help listeners to solve the problem of discourse connection, the speaker uses different anaphora repair strategies. In this study, Chinese learners ’spoken English corpus was used to explore the patterns and tactical characteristics of Chinese non-English majors’ conversational English in the English conversation by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Similarities and differences in the use of the beginning of the word. The study found that undergraduates have the highest proportion of self-repetition in the repair of spoken English, the proportion of restructuring and insertion strategy is very small, which reflects the characteristics of college students in language information processing and language online processing capabilities; There are obvious differences between the initial words and native speakers. This article uses the attention theory of cognitive psychology to explain the results and points out the enlightenment of this study to college oral English teaching.
