Lanxue is a new academic system produced by the contacts between Japan and Western civilization. Meiji period, with the continuous development of science and the impact of external forces, the shogunate gradually realized Lanxue as promoting the practicality of science and technology. The wave of Japan’s “civilized liberalization” is not abrupt. Japan’s spread and influence in Japan made the “closed-door state” Japan not in a completely independent state. The direct conditions for the transplanting of Western culture and the indirect influx of Chinese Han culture Under the conditions, the flourishing development of Lanxue and the rise of the shogun school have all made the translation work of each period stronger. This article will explore the changes of the institutions of translation of the shogunate with the development of Lanxue from the definition of Lanxue, its historical development and its influence.
