对人咽部正常菌群细菌抑制脑膜炎奈瑟氏菌A群、B群,溶血性链球菌甲型、乙型,肺炎链球菌,金黄色葡萄球菌,白喉棒状杆菌,百日咳杆菌生长进行了实验观察,结果显示对8种致病菌的生长都有抑制作用,其他菌株对8种致病菌的生长亦分别是部分抑制,表明人咽部正常菌群细菌对8种致病菌拮抗作用的多重性和非特异性。对25株人咽部正常菌群细胞的鉴定结果表明,有粪链球菌,孪生球菌、血链球菌、米勒链球菌,缓症链球菌,分别占32%,20%,16%,16%和4%,其中粪链球菌,孪生球菌对致病菌生长有抑制作用
