Establishing and perfecting the social security system is an important part of establishing a socialist market economic system and a necessary condition for smoothly promoting the reform and structural readjustment of enterprises. The central leading commanders have repeatedly stressed that this work is of utmost importance and urgency. After many years of efforts by the party and the government, the reform of the social security system is no longer an unmanageable work topic and it benefits more and more people.
