以江苏省邳州市瑞兴路盛世嘉苑小区周边段道路绿化设计为例,阐述了道路绿化设计的重要性,探讨了城市居住区周边道路绿化设计实践过程中如何将其美化作用、生态作用及文化作用三者结合在一起的方法。从道路景观设计的景观布局、景观节点营造及植物配置等方面解决道路绿化与周边环境关系的问题,提出在道路景观设计过程中,要充分考虑道路所在的周边环境,利用现有地形地貌,挖掘地方特色文化,将美化、生态及文化这三大作用融入到道路景观设计中去的设计理念。
