圆润、优美富于高、低、强、弱变化的笛声,主要来源于正确的演奏姿势和呼吸方法与“口形”的协调配合,而直接起控制音质作用的则是吹奏中“口形”的合理运用。口形运用得当,吹出的音就圆润、厚实、高亢、明亮且能最大限度减少漏气声,使气息合理地注入吹孔,有效作用于笛管发音。否则,会造成严重漏气现象,出现杂音,造成笛音窄而不圆,致使高音区音量偏细、偏小,与中、低音区音量明显不能统一。
