近年来随着经济的快速发展,如何在经济增长的同时防治环境污染和改善生态环境质量成为研究关注的焦点。选取14个环境污染指标、9个生态环境指标和人均GDP,对陕西省1986~2012年的数据建立数学模型,得出了环境质量与经济增长之间关系的环境库兹涅茨曲线(EKC);并选取8个影响因素进行多元线性回归,分析了影响环境指标和陕西省环境质量的主要因素。结果表明:23种环境指标对经济增长的影响呈现不同的发展趋势和特点;除经济增长外,人口数量、城市结构、产业结构、人口素质、技术水平、污染治理投资是影响陕西省环境质量的主要因素,对环境库兹涅茨曲线具有重要解释意义。该研究为陕西省环境污染和生态环境的治理修复、产业结构的科学调整提供依据,同时对我国西部其他省份的环境治理具有重要的借鉴意义。
