本人使用一台兼容机,利用网卡(UMC UM9008PnP)接入单位内部局域网,工作一直正常。前不久,又购置一台外置33.6KB即插即用MODEM。在安装时出现异常,具体表现为:按照说明书将MODEM与COM2口连接(COM1口接一串行鼠标),开机启动,Win95无法检测到新设备,检查机器的CMOS设置正常后,利用手动安装软件成功。之后又通过控制面板查看系统,没有冲突,原以为万事大吉。按照提示重新启动后试用
